• You must visit our eventbrite page here to sign-up before you can participate in the datathon.
  • Participants must be an Undergraduate or Postgraduate students at a UK university.
  • Participants can take part in groups up to 3.
  • All code must be produced within the timeframe Feb 26th - 27th, and be your own work
  • Any software, programming language, and framework can be used (provided you have permission to do so).
  • A publicly accessible link to your code /  report submission needs to be included for your submission to be judged
  • Submissions are due on Feb 27th 15:00
  • All winners will be expected to give a 10 minute presentation on their approach and findings, during the Winners’ Presentation and Feedback session on Sunday afternoon. Your team will be notified by email 30 minutes before the session if you will be expected to give a presentation.

Our hackathon is dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable environment and harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of the following:
  • gender
  • gender identity and expression
  • age
  • sexual orientation
  • disability
  • physical appearance
  • body size
  • race
  • ethnicity
  • nationality
  • religion
  • political views
  • previous hackathon attendance or lack of
  • computing experience or lack of
  • chosen programming language or tech stack
We do not tolerate harassment of hackathon participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate at any hackathon venue, this includes the following.
  • hacks
  • talks, presentations, or demos
  • workshops
  • any parties associated to the hackathon
  • social media
  • any other online media
Participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the hackathon at the discretion of the hackathon organisers.
